Peter Damsbo, MD

Dr. Damsbo holds an M.D. from the University of Copenhagen followed by training in medicine and surgery
Worked for 5 years at the Steno/Hvidöre Diabetes Center in the clinic and as research fellow with focus on the patophysiology of Type 2 diabetes and obesity
In 1991 he joined Novo Nordisk A/S, Denmark, and for 15 years held various positions in drug development, of which 3 years was as Medical Director in diabetes in the affiliate in Princeton, USA.
VP in Novo Nordisk global development group in headquarter within different therapeutic areas (diabetes, obesity, womens health care, growth hormone, hematology and medical devices) as well as health economy and outcome research
Experience in bringing NCE and biologics from phase 0 to registration in both USA, Europe and Japan
In 2006 he joined Zealand Pharma, a Danish biotech company with 65 employees, as Chief Development Officer
Experienced in drug concept evaluation and due dilligence
Consultant for the Technology Transfer unit (TECTRA) in the capital region of Copenhagen
Trained at INSEAD in the Advanced Management Program and at SIMI (Scandinavian International Management Institute) in the program of Managing Medical Product Innovation
Joined Kinexum as associated consultant in 2007.
